Come learn more about volunteer opportunities at Shoreline’s own Kruckeberg Botanic Garden. This volunteer orientation will include an overview of the garden’s programs and volunteer policies, a brief tour, and a discussion of current volunteer opportunities.

Afterwards, you can roll up your sleeves and join a garden work party until 4pm.

RSVPs to emily@kruckeberg.org are helpful, but drop-ins are welcome.

Work party this Sunday, March 1st at Kruckeberg Botanic Garden

A message from Emily Sprong:

On Sunday, March 1st the Kruckeberg Botanic Garden Foundation will host the first garden maintenance work party of the year. From March to October, work parties will be held regularly on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month from 12 - 4pm. We depend on work party volunteers to do much of the weeding, raking, and mulching that the garden needs. Volunteers of all skill levels are welcome, and snacks and tools are provided.

The Kruckeberg Botanic Garden is a public garden located in Richmond Beach. The garden is owned by the city of Shoreline and managed by the nonprofit Kruckeberg Botanic Garden Foundation.

Plant Sale at Kruckeberg Botanic Garden this weekend: Dec. 6 & 7, 2008

This 'Green Gifts' sale will feature table top trees, gift-wrapped plants, cards, garden art, gift certificates for MsK Nursery & more. All proceeds support the Foundation & garden operations. Sale held at Kruckeberg Botanic Garden.
