(This info is from Holly Firmin, Events Manager for Food Lifeline)

Food Lifeline’s World of Thanks Event

Did you know that nestled within the Fircrest campus in Shoreline you'll find Western Washington's largest hunger-relief organization? It's true. If you've ever seen those imposing white and green trucks with "Food Lifeline" emblazoned on them as you're driving throughout the north end of the Puget Sound area, they inevitably end up back at Food Lifeline's warehouse located at 1702 NE 150th Street. In fact, Food Lifeline has been procuring and distributing food to more than half-a-million hungry people in Western Washington for more than 30 years!

If you'd like to learn more about Food Lifeline, please join us for our annual World of Thanks event on Thursday, April 16th from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. We'll be turning our Shoreline warehouse into a carnival-themed open-house with games, food and a variety of other activities.

The event features:

  • Carnival "Attractions" Inspired by Food Lifeline programs and people
  • Your favorite fairground treats
  • Your chance to see Food Lifeline from the inside
  • Fun for the whole family

Please plan to join us on April 16th to partake in a few hours of fun and friendly faces. If you are interested, make sure to RSVP now by e-mail (RSVP@fll.org) or by calling (206) 545-6600 x3616 (space is limited). If you are unable to attend this event, remember that our doors are always open for you to stop by!
