Car show at the Shoreline Historical Museum

These photos were taken Saturday June 21st, in the parking lot of the Shoreline Historical Museum. they call it: "The History of Racing on Aurora"

It's the Shoreline Historical Musuem's annual outdoor 'Golden Wheels' exhibit of local historic race cars.

This was the first thing on display, right at the front of the lot.

It didn't really seem to fit the theme.

A 1926 car through a 1912 window

There is an antique car (a 1926 Model T Roadster) in the basement of the Shoreline Historical Museum. This is how they got it in. It was put (carefully and on purpose) through a window.

This is the display of photographs showing how they did it. The window and frame had to be removed from the building and the car's windshield had to be taken off. It was a crazy scheme, but someone figured out that they would just be able to pull it off.

And they did it! Here's the car inside the museum, safe and sound, behind a white picket fence. See that black square on the wall behind the car? That's the window it came through (closed off now).
