Richmond Beach Saltwater Park has been closed to car traffic for awhile for renovations. They've been putting in new parking lots, fixing up the steps, putting in new plants, etc. I was there today and discovered that the park is re-opened to cars. Here are some photos taken today.
So, yeah - signs, benches, trash cans, etc. are mysteriously wrapped in black plastic sheeting at the moment. But hey, not everything is wrapped in plastic. Here are a few other photos I took today.

Looks like it was hydroseeded. The green is a "marker" so they know where they have sprayed the grass seed, compost, fertilizer mixture.

ReplyDeleteIf I am not mistaken it is a grass seed mixture that has nutrients in it to help it grow. It is blown on with very large reverse vacuum tubes. It is used to stabilize the hillside so that the rains do not wash it away.
