Shoreline's best restaurants?

My favorite Shoreline restaurants are Spiro's (excellent pizza in a family restaurant atmosphere), Pho 99 (yummy soup and inexpensive), and the new(ish) Thai Bistro (great food and very nice dining environment).

That being said, I must admit that I don't eat out in Shoreline a whole heck of a lot.

So what great restaurant(s) am I missing out on? Which are your favorite restaurants in Shoreline? Post your choices in the comment section. And please hurry - I'm getting hungry! :)

  1. Suni's for burgers, and Grinders for sandwiches.

  2. Oh, definitely Grinders! And I don't know if it counts as Shoreline, but I love Saltoro. Canyon's is ok for a burger and beer.

  3. Yep, the pickin's are pretty slim it seems up here in Shoreline.

I'm thinking it's easier to list your favorite dive. I fondly vote for the Cabin!

Where is Grinders, by the way?

The best burritos in all of Seattle used to be at Chilly Cosmos at Central Market, but now that's gone. In its place El Tralia on Aurora above 160th is a decent substitute. Don't be turned off by the trailer front as the food quality is good.

  6. I ate at Pho Saigon at 145th & Greenwood this evening and it was very good. Family friendly and clean. New owners took over it a couple of months ago and they said they have redone the menu to remove MSG and have a good selection of Bubble Tea. A great way to introduce people to Vietnamese food.

  7. If you enjoy authentic Mexican food you can't miss Taqueria El Sabor on Aurora just south of Sears/Central Market!

  8. Ate at Thai Bistro at 185th and Aurora last night and got a lovely case of food poisoning. This on top of rude service ... I recommend staying away from this place! Great blog, though!
