Round and round

These things seem to have sprouted up all over Shoreline.
What are your thoughts?

All hail our new traffic circle overlords! :)

  1. I love them! I like roundabouts, because they make a lot of sense when it comes to regulating traffic at an intersection without lights or stop signs. Traffic flows more smoothly, at least once folks get used to how the roundabout works.

Congrats on the new blog, by the way, and thanks for starting it!

  2. Roundabouts are a great way of 'calming' traffic. With the lack of sidewalks and streetlights, being a pedestrian in Shoreline is difficult at best. Traffic circles, roundabluts, and speed humps are a good way to help conrtol traffic and help keep the streets safer.
