Christmas Tree recycling this weekend in Shoreline

If you had a "real" Christmas tree this year and you're ready to get rid of it, this weekend is the perfect time to do so. This Saturday and Sunday from 9am - 3pm you can take your tree to the parking lot at Shorewood High School (on 175th, west of Aurora - right by the Shoreline Historical Museum) and turn it in to be recycled. The event is free, but is only open to Shoreline residents, so bring proof of residency. More details at the link below.

Also, if you go, I encourage you to pay a visit to the Shoreline Historical Museum. After all, you'll be right there! The SHM houses lots of interesting and informational displays about the history of Shoreline as well as a room full of old radios and TVs. The museum is free to visit, and Vicky Stiles, who runs the place is very knowledgeable and friendly. The Shoreline Historical Museum is well worth a visit!
