Did you know there's a professional recording studio in Shoreline?

I was surprised to hear that Shoreline has not just a professional recording studio, but one that's hosted bands like Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, and Queensryche. It's Londonbridge Studio, who I discovered after they placed an ad on Craigslist for their services.

It seems odd to imagine an 80s metal band hanging out around the Ballinger Thriftway, doesn't it?

Has anyone ever had any brushes with celebrity here in Shoreline? City council members don't count. Tell us in the comments about your close encounters with the rich and famous!

  1. Robert Lang's studio in Richmond Beach has been around since 1974.

Quite a list of people who have recorded there....

  2. I grew up in the early 60's on
    205th above Firdale Village.

The Afdem brothers lived one block east (Dynamics & Springfield Rifle) http://pnwbands.com/dynamics.html

One block west was George Guilmet of Mr. Clean & the Cleansers

    Good times!!

  3. Interesting; thanks, Straycat!!
